The press conference of the second edition of Salone dell’Auto di Torino took place at Porta Susa train station, where an evocative temporary air show came to life: 20 style models on a scale 1:4 made by IED Torino fluctuated from the glass-and-steel vault. The exhibition will welcome visitors passing by the station for the next two months, until the end of the event.
Andrea Levy presented Salone dell’Auto di Torino together with Mayor of Turin Piero Fassino, and in the presence of Gian Luca Pellegrini, Director of Quattroruote, Gianmarco Giorda, ANFIA Director, Romano Valente, UNRAE Director, Claudio Lubatti, Councillor for Traffic and Transport of Turin and Paolo Locatelli, Trenitalia.
The list of the 42 Car Companies that will participate in Salone dell’Auto di Torino – from June, 8th to 12th, 2016 - in 50 days is the following: Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Corvette, Dacia, Fiat, Ferrari, Ford, Infiniti, Jaguar, Jeep, Kia, Lamborghini, Lancia, Land Rover, Lexus, Lotus, Maserati, Mazda, Mazzanti Automobili, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Mitsubishi, Opel, Pagani, Porsche, Renault, SEAT, ŠKODA, Smart, SsangYong, Suzuki, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, W Motors, besides Design Centres: Cecomp,Fioravanti, IDEA Institute, IED Torino, Italdesign, Model 5, Pininfarina, Politecnico Torino, Skorpion Engineering, Studio Torino, Up Design, Zagato Milano. Opel Astra will be exhibited on platform no. 1, dedicated to the winner of the international contest Car of the Year.
An interactive Car Show that is going to launch its official App on June, 1st. With the app visitors will be able to send a test-drive reservation request directly to Car Companies and to find out the characteristics of each model exhibited on platforms during Salone dell’Auto di Torino.
